The Chemistry Industry Association of Canada is a member of the International Council of Chemical Associations (ICCA), based in Brussels, Belgium. The global chemical industry, as represented by ICCA, is committed to promoting Responsible Care®, which has now been implemented in over 50 countries around the world.

The tagline "Our Commitment to Sustainability", first used in Canada to denote the change to the ethic and principles of Responsible Care®, has also been adopted by ICCA.
